… our nest is getting cozier!
Baby #6 is due early May … and we are so thrilled!
{What a great time to move nests … from one house to another in just the right time … the Lord knows what He is doing!}
We just told the girls this past Thanksgiving weekend … they could barely believe it … they were excited and kept asking “Are you sure?!? Is this serious?”
After we reassured them it was for real, they started guessing whether it will be a boy or girl. The truth is – whatever God gives us is best! We are happy to add another girl or if it is a boy, then it will be a fun new chapter, as well! Of course, they are telling everyone they know so I thought it would be a safe time to formalize it.
I’m 13 weeks now and feeling much better after a few weeks of nausea and general early pregnancy discomfort.
The BEST thing that blessed my heart happened while we were packing up the girls room for our big move in this week. I told the girls how excited I am for them to have their new room where they will all sleep together (I’ve always thought it would be amazing to have a big all-girl bedroom with all their little beds lined up!)… and I asked them what they were most excited about …
Lacey simply answered, “Mom, We’re MORE excited about the baby than the house!!!!”
How precious!
Now tell me this baby won’t be loved?
It most certainly will.
P.S. I most certainly never dreamed I would so blessed as to have six children. Perhaps I will share with you one day about how the Lord has changed my our hearts over our family size in a later post. God is good. I am so thankful for His mercies!
