For starters, let’s sum it up with this: I’m a God-loving-coffee-drinking-photo-taking-wife-and-momma-pink-wearing-animal-loving kinda gal.
I LOVE the Lord Jesus. He is my first and top priority in my life.
Second in line is my family – my sweet hubba-hubba, Abby, and my three LOVELY Ls – Lacey, Lyla and Lucia.
Before jumping into the photography world feet first five years ago, I was a print journalist and absolutely LOVED the fast-paced job of chasing firetrucks, stalking the police scanner and writing articles. However, I knew I couldn’t continue being a journalist while being a mommy so I decided to run after another love – photography. And while my life is always seemingly hectic and insanely crazy – with three kids under the age of five, a one year old puppy, four year old cat and and a photography business to run, I wouldn’t change my life for a million bucks.
I do a lot of my proofing late at night when the kidlets are sleeping. I love my nights. I get 90% of my work done while the rest of my house sleeps.
I try to live my life with the motto: “If you want to be happy, be.” It’s the best way to look at this one and only life we live.
