{Please note – I’m currently on a self-imposed a maternity break to delight in our fifth baby as she blesses our home with even more love. First off – I LOVE the Lord Jesus. He is my first and top priority in my life. So thankful for His Grace and Mercy!

Over our 10 years of marriage, I have been blessed to be the wife of my Happy Mortician and a mother to my five Little Women. We home educate our children, my husband and his family run the local funeral home, I run the photography business from home, and together, in this lovely, crazy, awesome journey, we share all our joys, sadness, blessings and trials together as a family.

Before jumping into the photography world feet first nine years ago, I was a print journalist and absolutely LOVED the fast-paced job of chasing firetrucks, stalking the police scanner and writing articles. However, I knew I couldn’t continue being a journalist while being a mommy so I decided to run after another love – photography. I love to use photography to document my family’s life, your family’s life and all the blessings in between. Throw in a family of seven and homeschooling, and we certainly have an adventure on our hands.

I try to live my life with the motto: “If you want to be happy, be.”  It’s the best way to look at this one and only life we live here on earth.
