Moon Sand & Lovely Lilacs.

We are done 99% of our bookwork for school … so we’ve been ‘living it up’ a little …

Playing with Moon Sand (aka. 8 cups of flour mixed with 1/2 cup of oil – big hit with all the girls, as you can tell! It’s sand you can shape!).

{Shhh, don’t tell Abby where all the flour went. I’m not that great at baking bread anyways.}

Playing with the bunnies …

{Sidenote – see that beautiful man behind her? Yes, the man with resting with his hand on baby Leia? So thankful for him. Yes, I am. What a good daddy.}

Love’s first introduction to the babies …

Look at those sweet little wavy half-curls on her neck – 🙂 and is just me or does my five year old have biceps?!

flowers for mommy – my FAVORITE ever.

making paper dolls …

{Who would’ve thought these little paper creations would provide hours of fun for the girls?   Admittedly, Lucia has lost most of hers by now, but the older girls do love these cute characters.

Want the link? Here you go!

I spent hours cutting them out – and I do mean hours with some help from my grandma! – and laminated them for sturdiness. I didn’t know it would take me that long, but the girls really do love them!}

I found another source for horse paper dolls as well, and the girls just love those even more. If your little girl loves horses, maybe this would be a good craft to do together this summer.

blowing bubbles …

and snuggling during story time at night, after scrubbing down their very, very dirty toes and bodies.

Little Leia is growing, but still so little and snuggly. I love, love, love holding her.

My grandma crocheted her this sweet bonnet … what a lucky little baby.
