One of the many projects I’ve been working on lately have to do wtih this Etsy store: Baby Unit. The store owner and creator of such loveliness for little ones contacted me to do some photos of her products … well, I was BLOWN away when I opened the box and pulled out two beautiful handmade coats, two gorgeous handmade dolls, a sundress and a baby teether (still to get pics of). Wow. Such talent …! I can’t even sew a button on a shirt or hem a pair of pants (duct tape, thankyouvermuch!) … I would give my left arm (well, maybe my right arm since I’m lefthanded) to be able to create such beautiful clothes!
These beautiful coats are buttoned up, with a hood and are just the right weight for the fall months. (Sizes on the blog are size 4/5). Wear it with jeans. Wear it with a skirt. Either way, you will love this jacket on your little princess!
All dolls and toys from Baby Unit are stuffed with eco-fill – 100% recylced polyester – even the dolls hair is made out of – get this! – recycled water bottles! WOW!
Oh, and you know what else is pretty cool? Baby Unit is another Canadian (Ontario!) business – yeah!
