First up – let’s announce the winner of the giveaway from Baby Unit – an awesome online store that had asked me to work on some images for them.
Thank you all for your great responses! I love doing the blog giveaways – 🙂 Some of you readers who never post come out of the woodwork and then I get to know you all better! I love that (but feel free to post a comment more often!).
Using a random number generator – the winner is:

And now on to some photos … I stumbled across an ad for this antique baby buggy earlier last week and after much anticipation, finally purchased it this morning! Yeah! I LOOOVE it. Just imagine all those lovely newborns coming up snuggled deeply and beautifully within this gorgeous carriage …
So I decided to give it a test run on my girls … all summer long, I’ve been waiting for THAT shot – the shot of all three girls that I can use for Christmas presents and more … I think I finally got it. (*sigh*)
Lacey is five, Lyla is three and Lucia is 1 … they are my Ls, my loves, my life.
Can you tell Lucia is teething – she really wanted to suck those fingers tonight …
Lacey has been working so hard to be a great big sister – her acts of kindness melt my heart.
The other day, she proudly told me she had just changed Lucia’s diaper for me – I was shocked and then delighted! 😉 She actually did a great job and when I told her so, she promptly said, “Well, then can I start babysitting?”
If only, child, if only. I could actually save up for Disney world then!
She’s doing such a great job as the eldest sister and although I don’t want to rush her to grow up, I’m also so proud of how she helps mommy out …
– but sometimes, she tries just a little tooooo hard …
Speaking of sweet – our little Sweet Pea Lucia is just sprouting and breaking my heart all at the same time … it’s so bittersweet to see your baby grow so quickly – but no matter what, she’ll always be my baby …
and Lyla – well, the thing about Lyla is NEVER EVER wake her up. Seriously. She should have “Danger: Do not wake sleeping child. Do so at your own personal risk” stamped across her little forehead. She wakes up as a big, crabby, black grizzly bear … so tonight, when she fell asleep on the ride to the location, I was very nervous …
Thankfully, she woke up cuddly and not crabby. (PHEW!)
but she wouldn’t come out of the stroller – she was too cold, she said … but I got this quick photo when she popped her head up to see what was going on …
Lacey also took this image for me so I could show my BFF, who lives in Texas, my hair … what do you think? I think my mother-in-law thinks I’m nuts … but pink is my favorite colour, after all!
