Sisterhood and some {blushing}.

This morning, I took my three girlies to the library for the reading program that I’ve signed up two older Ls up in … it was a lovely morning. I was feeling mighty fine, knowing  I was encouraging my children to invest in their reading abilities and their love of books … we were all snuggled together on a pillow on the floor, surrounded by piles of colorful books when I look up to find my three year old, Tarzan Jane (Lyla) peeling the backs off of my pads and panty liners, which she had discovered after snooping through my purse, and was promptly sticking them to the bookshelf walls!

{BLUSH}

Seriously. C’mon?!?!?!?

I ran after her, trapped her under a table and hissed “GIVE ME THOSE!” and ripped the remaining pads and liners from her sticky little hands, marched her out of the children’s room in the library and gave her the “what-for” talking. You know the one, moms. “Behave or ELSE!!!!!”

Yes, ladies, that was my lovely morning trip to the local library. I’m just glad I caught Lyla before anyone else did!
Children keep us young, don’t they?
Or wait. Or is it that they age us?

My hubby sure is going grey lately … hmmm ….

Carry Gillian,
I had to giggle as I recent had a moment just like this while camping, in the bathroom my son asked me at the top of his lungs I had…and I quote “ripped one” cause it stunk. I hadn’t but was mortified anyway. But it’s not so back when you look back and laugh. And I do tell him to never been embarrassed!
