Be warned. She is TOO CUTE for words so I’ll be quiet so you can see for yourself ….!!!!!

Little D…

ONE MONTH TILL CHRISTMAS!!! Yeahhhh!

I can’t believe we’re still working on orders over here in Gigi land, but we are. We will get them to you soon, I promise. And for those of you with the mini sessions and some straggling sessions that are not uploaded, well, I’m coming, I promise! I am working hard to have them finished so you can still enjoy your images for the holidays.

For those of you who had your sessions this past summer and this fall, today was the cutoff for ordering. Thank you for all your orders! We are working hard over with with our little elves (Oh, how I wish I had elves!) and will be processing all of the orders that came in the last week or so as soon as possible. For those of you who still have live galleries, you can still place orders but they will not be ready until mid January 2010.

Just a note: if orders are not paid, they are not processed so please make sure you submit payment when you place your order. 🙂

There. Enough of the technical stuff. I hate that stuff! 😀

Onto some cuteness … that STUFF I LOVE!

Introducing Little Miss D.  Such a sweet baby girl and her family was amazing, as well!

Mich Oh Gillian, I have been dying to see these pics of my amazing friend and her beautiful family…and of course their precious new baby girl…the shots are just gorgeous and I too, see canvas future for the pic of baby with daddy. I am sure she will be calling me to say how hard it is to choose as I did with my gallery. Have fun Andrea!!

Little Boy Blue.

Chris, you have a gorgeous little family! Enjoy these sleepless, wonderful days! 🙂

Okay, it’s been a while since we did a giveaway so I think it’s time for a new one! And this one is to celebrate boys to go along with Baby Hayden’s post.

I know we often have more “girlie” type giveaways going on here on the blog (sorry – must be the influence of my three girls and my pink-centered life) so it’s high time to have a giveaway for our cute, adorable boys!

(Please note, I’m not encouraging violence, but simply taking us back to a simpler time when kids would play outdoors in the woods and be adventorous and pretend to be pirates or Robin Hood … you know, the good ol’ days …)

Introducing …. Backwoods Toys

iusb_760x1006085763

I found them while looking for some cool gifts for my three nephews for Christmas – and this year, I’m really trying to give mostly handmade, homemade, unique, wooden gifts …. trying to avoid the plastics and trying to encourage the kids to be kids with such toys as ….

a wooden ping pong ball shooter … (oh, my dad would even love this!)

Shooter, Slingshot Combo

or a wooden slingshot  (for those boys in the country who have lots of room to roam safely!)…

Slingshot

or how about a marshmallow (or pom pom) shooter that can shoot marshmallows over 50 feet?!!? Seriously. How fun would that be for a little boy?! This listing even includes two bags of marshmallows!

2 Camo Marshmallow Shooters

These fun, unique toys are handmade in Mississippi and are sure to keep your little boys busy long past Christmas …

To enter this week’s giveaway, just leave a comment her on the post and we’ll draw a name by the end of the week.
Happy Monday!

Miranda Jaspar is a real boys boy…. and with a dad in the militia, this is how they prefer to play! Excellent stuff for the wee lads in my life!!!

November 24, 2009 - 3:38 pm

November 24, 2009 - 9:29 am

Teresa Hey i’ve got TWO boys and we live in the country, all 225 acreas for our boys to roam on….I check your site out daily(usually 2-3 times a day) love your shots Gillian. Love the hats your Gramma made mine always used leftover weird colors.

November 24, 2009 - 8:47 am

November 24, 2009 - 7:49 am

Sara Devan (and my husband!) would totally love this stuff!

November 24, 2009 - 4:25 am

Chris These look awesome Gillian, thank you! I know you hear this a lot but you’re so talented, which I guess is why I keep coming back to you year after year : )Wouldn’t have anyone else shoot my kids growing up!

November 24, 2009 - 12:41 am

Patty I love these wooden toys!! My son is ALL BOY and anything he plays with (or near) must be indestructable!

November 24, 2009 - 12:29 am

Chelsey Okay, definitely started laughing when I got to the marshmallow shooter … I don’t know any ‘boy’ (*ahem* grown-adult-man-in-his-20s-30s-and-40s) that wouldn’t love that – can you see the antics?! ha!

Beautiful newborn shots! But that family-sibling one steals the show. I hope that ends up in their home, just about life size – that is what kids should grow up with! 🙂

November 24, 2009 - 12:25 am

Ami This is too funny! It’s the first giveaway on your blog that my daughter would love. She’d probably describe the weapons as “totally sic”! I’m the mom in the dept stores who tries to sway her daughter to the pretty girl clothes & toys but accepting that the Spiderman boots and swords are more appealing to her!
These look like neat toys. Way better than the dollar store guns that Madster talks her grandma into buying!
And of course, what adorable photos on today’s post!

Holiday Schedule for Gigi Photography.

Uh-oh.

dsc_5981

Have you placed your orders yet for Christmas? This Wednesday, Nov. 25th is the deadline for Christmas orders! Don’t miss out! Once we are finished with the Christmas orders, we will not be processing any more orders until the new year so don’t delay! This is your chance!

Please note that the studio will be closed from December 1st until the new year so we can enjoy this beautiful holiday season with our families.  Howver, if you are having a baby or would like to book a newborn or maternity session, we will definitely accomodate during the holiday season as this is a time that is oh so precious and must be photographed within a certain timeline. Bookings for 2010 have already begun and we’ll be booking February 2010 onwards.  Outdoor sessions are currently already being booked – yes, we’re thinking ahead! – so if you want a summer weekend date, don’t wait too long!

Okay, now enough with all of that technical stuff … on to some cute photos of little Miss S.!
