I just read that I’m a week from being halfway in this pregnancy … wow! First off, I can barely believe it and yet, in other ways, I can.
It’s amazing how once you know there is a little human being formed in your womb that it feels as if they have been a part of your life forever – and once they are born, you cannot imagine your day without the little one to brighten up your family’s lives!
And so, we are finishing up 18 weeks in the pregnancy. The midway ultrasound is booked for next week. I look forward to seeing a sneak peak into God’s handiwork!
Apparently, the baby is the size of a sweet potatoe and is hiccuping, sucking his or her thumb, rolling and listening to noises…amazing!
I started to feel the baby move quite a few weeks ago and it was delightful to feel the tiny little kicks throughout the day. Besides being tired {but don’t we all feel tired?}, I feel wonderful and am thanking God every day for another little baby that will join us in the spring. The girls pray every day – one for a girl, one prays for a boy, one prays for triplets and another prays for twins. 🙂 They’re cute. I told them -no doubt, it’s not twins, but we whether or not it will be a boy or girl – well, that will be a surprise!
“Motherhood is not a hobby, it’s a calling.
You do not collect children because you find them cuter than stamps.
It is not something you do if you can squeeze the time in.
It is what God gave you time for.”
