I’m thankful I said no … to rushing about and being overbooked for our family this season.
I’m thankful I said no to committing myself and my energy to programs that would’ve taken my time away from my family.
I’m thankful I said no … because in this moment, there is enough time to hold her. Sick with a fever. Coughing and lethargic. Sleepless nights and restless days.
She needs her momma. No one else. There’s nowhere to go but to be right here.
