A Little Bit More…

“Every Who down in Who-ville, the tall and the small,
Was singing! Without any presents at all!
He HADN’T stopped Christmas from coming! IT CAME!
Somehow or other, it came just the same!
And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice-cold in the snow,
                                                                                      stood puzzling and puzzling:
                                                                                                How could it be so?
It came without ribbons! It came without tags!
It came without packages, boxes, or bags!
And he puzzled and puzzled, till his puzzler was sore.
Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn’t before!
“Maybe Christmas,” he thought, “doesn’t come from a store.
Maybe Christmas… perhaps… means a little bit more.”
                                                                                                – the Grinch

If my Christmas contained just this hour of my life, I would be completely happy … what a fun, blessed Christmas with all my the girls running around …

What more could I ask for?

Treasures of memories …

{Look at this lil’ stinker. Every night, Lucia sleeps with us. She usually kicks me in the back and I often end up forced out of my bed and into her bed so she can cuddle with daddy.  She wakes up the minute he wakes up and cries if he has left the bed. She sometimes even sleeps on his chest all night long. She’s  a true daddy’s girl.}

Little Love …

So blessed. And grateful.

Not without gratitude to God do I count my blessings this Christmas …thankful for my ‘little bit more.’
