It’s been raining a lot this week.
But I don’t mind. I absolutely adore the sound of falling rain. I love the way everything looks after a fresh spring shower. I love how the birds sing even louder after a quick burst of drops.
Today … Lucia gave me two minutes outside in the fresh blue flowers of our yard. In just days, our grass and gardens have come alive. I am in love.
This is Lucia’s regular look. She’s a serious child. Not much of gimme-a-big-grin girl. I still love this photo … because, well, it’s her.
