She Turns Nine.

We’d had such an incredible week with more goat babies born, an animal death (I will post about that after the birthday post), company from England who are dearly loved, and a fantastic visit with the girls’ godmother … but to start our busy week was Lyla’s 9th birthday… her birthday lands in July, once of the best times for an outdoor family BBQ, which is exactly what we did …

Happy birthday to our spunky, lively Lyla! Life is so much more interesting with you (and your goat buddy, Walter) around! 😉

Maike – When I was little I would probably be scared of the goat with the big horns, but really from what you write and the pictures show, he seems to be such a gentle friendly goat. It is so nice to see them enjoying each others presence. <3 It's sad to hear about the animal death though. 🙁 (Have you received my email?)
