It’s hard to believe that she’s now old enough to be called a six-year-old.
Seems like she just turned five … and every day of this past year with her was indeed precious.
This sprightly, little whimsy of a girl, the one who loves to dress up and let her hair down …
.. the little girl who never feels restrained by time and is happy to daydream the day away … but is always the first one up and the last one to finish her bowl of oatmeal at breakfast… 🙂
Third in a line of sisters, she fits somewhere with the little ones and now mostly with the bigger girls …
Today, she turned six. And while it makes me sad to think of her getting older and that she may not be so little as she once was …
… I treasure the little girl in her and see the lovely tiny person that is changing and living out life to the fullest right before my eyes …
With the world covered in freshly fallen snow outside our kitchen windows, we celebrated her special day with grandparents and family, pink frosted cake and swirly cookies and lots of hugs …
The beautiful cake made by our lovely ‘Auntie Kate’ and the sweet crochet heart banner made by the fabulous great Grandma … xoxoxo ….
It was a simple afternoon to stop and cherish the life of this beautiful child that Lord has given us to raise …
The sisterhood … before we left for church in the morning …
{and you know what is amazing and wonderful?
Already, when we look at this photo, we already see where the next baby will fit into this picture …
five little girls, waiting patiently for the next addition …
I am so grateful for this goodness coming our way!}
Happiest of birthdays, Lucia Marie Clair. We are so delighted to you have in our lives! xo
