Sisters.

A sister can be seen as someone who is both ourselves and very much not ourselves –
a special kind of double.

~Toni Morrison

My biggest girls. The first two.

Lacey EllaRose –  7 years old. The responsible, loving, older sister. The one who will help you out when you need it. The one who can get her baby sister laughing like no one else. The one who aims for perfection. The one who still loves to play make believe. Build fairy houses and stay up late watching Road to Avonlea with me.

Lyla, Precious Joyce – 4.5. – the middle of four girls – the firecracker of our lady-bunch. A mix of ‘wild child’ and little lady all at the same time. Adventurous. Complains the least. Gets along with everyone and loves to party. A leader.  And the only one with {adorable} freckles so far.

Together … they are not only sisters, they honestly are great friends. And that makes my heart so happy.

They are both learning to play the violin. Absolutely the cutest thing ever. (But my apologies to my neighbours …)

— looking for fairies …

Grateful to be given the blessing of watching this special sister bond grow …

Sherri Wow, what a great set of pics. They radiate sisterly love and devotion. Their dresses are precious too. Love the filtered sunlight making the scenes seem dreamlike.
