This past week, while the big girls were at Awana, we slipped away for a quiet, evening walk with Lucia and Lovelyn. I have to admit, I did have a motive – I knew I wanted to get some photos of Lucia alone … so I dressed her into this vintage dress I found online on Etsy and brought her big sister’s parasol and off we went to the beautiful Magnolia tree that was in bloom down the road … (thank you, Chris, for letting me use your tree!)

She said she was pretending she was Carrie from Little House on the Prairie … and suddenly she looks so grown up to me …
