{Family}

I’m so thankful for a great family that is so supportive. Last night, after I finished shooting a session, I started to feel very ‘off’- wasn’t sure if I was just tired or exhausted (this fourth pregnancy is tiring my body more than the others), but went to pick up my girlies from their grandparents, where they were playing while I was shooting. Upon arrival, however, I quickly realized that this off-feeling was some sort of bug or *something* that caused me to befriend my toilet and my in laws toilet for most of the evening. It was not fun … but it seems the worst of it is over… now just dealing with ridiculous amounts of Braxton Hicks contractions after all those poor stomach muscles were ‘over used’ …
Thankful, though, because my mother in law, Joyce, came home with me and helped wash up the kids and put them to bed and hubby was able to stay home today and help me out, as well. So grateful for that kind of care. Family is amazing when they pull together, aren’t they?

Speaking of families… here’s a little sneak peek for a fabulous family that had to wait nearly a year for their family portraits, after being rained and frozen out last fall on their original date. And this week, we’re doing Jenn’s TTD (Trash the Dress) session – cannot wait!!!

This little guy was too much fun. What a sweetie!!

Now there’s a smile that will melt a momma’s heart …

::love:: (Does she look like someone famous to you? I can’t my finger on who she looks like ….)

It took a little while for this sweet pea to warm up to the whole idea of a photographer, following her around a random country field … but eventually ….

A true to life mom/dad moment- can you tell why? 😉

Gotta love that she willingly climbed into this very rusty ol’ truck for me ….

Snuggles- oh so sweet!

Jenn, I can’t wait for your TTD session! It’s going to be great!!!

P.S. If you see some adorable bows and hair accessories in my sessions, no doubt they are from Sassy Sweet Pea! Such cute hair clips and bows, headbands and fun items for moms, too!

Sherri Smith Love the girl in the truck. It looks like she really belongs there with her clothes & bows matching the blue paint & red rust. Great.
