Gorgeous.

A perk of my job?
I get to snuggle and photograph amazingly gorgeous newborns … like Miss Delicate, Precious little Madeleine  …

Isn’t she just a vision of loveliness? Oh, I just {loooove} her sweet lips.

One thing that really impressed me with Madeleine’s mom was how easily she was nursing and how comfortable she was with it. That’s always so great to see – especially in first time mothers!
But as the babies get older, sometimes they get distracted during nursing … and that’s where these lovely nursing necklaces from A Better Birth come into play …

These lovely necklaces are handmade by Holly Lo of A Better Birth – and each necklace is unique, oh so funky and absolutely gorgeous, not to mention completely safe for your little ones. Wear your necklace while nursing to keep your baby’s fingers and attention focused on you …

This week’s giveaway is one of these fantastic necklaces … just leave a comment on the blog and we’ll draw a name by the end of the week. They are so pretty – you could even wear them if you’re not nursing!

A Better Birth is also offering a really awesome workshop this weekend on Saturday, March 27th – have you always wanted to make your own baby food but wasn’t sure how or where to start? Then book this Saturday off …! This workshop is great for you … healthy, cost effective and yummy food for your little one!

The workshop will teach you how to cook your own baby’s food, you’ll take home freezer trays of yummy foods for your little ones and you will even receive a recipe book for future ideas. This is not only great for toddlers, but also great for the entire family! The cost is $25 per person but the price goes down if you bring a friend!

Justine What a great idea! Nursing necklaces! There were times when I used to have to go and sit in a dark room so my babes would nurse undistracted! Forget it if anyone else was in the room!

Amy McTeague Gillian I love keeping up with your blog! It is such a warm happy place to come. Gorgeous necklaces…I would love to look into those for friends just having babies. The babies get all the gifts and I think mom’s deserve them too. Great that they are safe for nursing babies and grab their attention!
