For the past three weeks, I’ve been carrying around a little secret and I’m just too excited to keep it hidden any longer!
So here’s my little announcement on the blog … we’re going to have a little addition this coming October – my own little baby model!!!!
Yes, I’m eight weeks pregnant with baby #4 and yes, my belly is already starting to pop out (what is with that? Is it because it’s the fourth one?!) … and a few people in town – like my parents and my inlaws – know about that we’re expecting baby #4 and living in a small town like Orangeville, well, word spreads like wild fire so I thought I better get it out there officially before the entire town knows!
I know it’s a bit early to announce a pregnancy – and yes, I am so afraid and nervous that I could still miscarry …. but I am trusting God on this one and praying that He will keep my little bambino safe and snug until October.
Soooo … as a mom to three {fun-loving} little girls, all I can help but wonder is if this one will be a boy or another girl?!?! What do you guys think? I really don’t know if we will find out – most likely we WON’T find out the gender and keep it a suprise until the end. Either way, I SOOOO already have a girl name and a boy name picked out. 🙂 In fact, I’ve been wanting another baby for quite a while now and this is just a pleasant blessing in our family’s life.
Oh trust me, I know it will be nuts – four kids under foot and a business to run – but I am up for the challenge. I also have a fantastic network of moms with three or more children so we can all vent to each other when we think we might be nutso somedays! 😉
I am so excited to meet this little baby and am already hoping he or she has a full head of black, dark hair like my little Lyla’s hair when she was born (and she kept it!).
So … I’m sure … over the course of the next months, you will be seeing lots of growing belly pictures and hearing lots of pregnancy stories from this crazy momma. Barefoot and pregnant. Yup, that’s what I will be this summer.
Now, can someone pass me the gingerale? My tummy is a bit queasy.
