To all my Canadian friends – 

 

Happy Thanksgiving! What a beautiful weekend in Ontario! I hope you had a wonderful weekend with your family … I sure did. And I’m 10 time as stuffed as the two turkeys my family just devoured! Yikes!

I was lucky enough to have my sister here from Alberta for the weekend … here we are mastering the art of pie making. With baby almost on hip.

Now … time to come up with some creative meals for all this turkey … any recipes you want to share?

admin – Hey Lori – this was at Carl Laidlaw in Brampton! It was SOOO much fun! I will totally be going back next year! Awesome location! The pie turned out amazing! 😉 You should try it! We cheated with the pastry though! Hee hee!

lori – Looks like alot of fun! Where did you do this? Somewhere local?
How did the pies turn out!! I love to bake but still have not mastered the art of pastry making! Prefer to make an apple tart or crisp. Yum! Lori
