As a little girl – and even as an older girl π , I was enthralled with enchantment … I think every child should be dream and imagine and play make believe … so today, the girls and I invited fairies into our home …

I saw these darling little fairy portals online a few weeks ago and knew we just had to have some in our home … they only open for the wee fairy folk and you can put them anywhere Β – in your garden, in your home … the girls and I put one in each of their bedrooms so the fairies could fly about at night during the quiet and stillness of the evening.Β

Lyla’s door, of course, is purple … (her favorite colour) …
I told Lyla that only the fairies can open the wee doors, but that doesn’t mean she won’t try … πΒ

Lacey’s door – surprise, surprise – is pink …
Do you see that tiny bead right beside the door? We found it on the floor and she thought it would make a great welcoming gift for the fairies … who knows, maybe the fairies will leave some pixie dust in exchange come the morning…

(We didn’t put up Lucia’s fairy door yet as she having her beloved afternoon nap during this time, but no worries – she too has a pink fairy door of her very own …)
