{A bit} Over my Head

“Don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today.”
-Benjamin Franklin

Last week, I decided the school room/back room needed to be repainted. Abby & I worked on it and finished it in a day. It was great.
{I will post some pictures once snow clothes have dried from in front of woodstove!}

Often – no, always –  I start projects without much thought. I just start them and then, once you start, you can’t stop. Sometimes, that’s good, sometimes that’s not good.

Well, the paint brush decided to find it’s way to the front of the house, swiping on a patch of paint to test out how it would look in the front hall/foyer.

Before I knew it, I was knee deep in another project. And still am, I might add. Except it’s just me painting now.
It is super-duper-slow-going when you are working around … well, life … naps, toddlers, homeschooling … life stuff.

But with Lazarus wrapped to my chest, we’re getting it done- s.l.o.w.l.y.

I do feel I am a bit over my head with this project. How am I ever going to get it all painted? It is such a huge hallway!

(But isn’t the current color so awful? Butterscotch Pudding or something like that!)

I can’t wait for it be done … those lights need replacing, as well.

If I don’t surface for a while, then you will know why. I’ll still be painting.

Lauren Haha! I think the butterscotch pudding color is nice, and so charming! You crazy lady, you! Getting into painting projects after just having had a baby! ;););)
